Shift Supervisor

Lead the kitchen’s daily operations together with the head chef and the kitchen manager, bringing your expertise, creativity, and calm approach to the role. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth kitchen activity for your shift and will actively participate in food preparation. The role emphasizes independent work but you will never be alone. Responsibilities include: operational kitchen leadership and cooking in line with Graniittiklubi’s concept; planning and executing food production for private events; collaborating with the Meripaviljonki, Juttutupa and Paasiravintolat kitchens; ensuring quality, waste control, and efficient work; maintaining hygiene and safety standards; receiving goods, inventory, and warehouse management; tracking seasons, ingredients and food trends and implementing new ideas; smooth cooperation with the dining room and other restaurant teams. Requirements include experience as a shift supervisor, ability to work independently with confidence and organizational skills, good stress tolerance, commitment to high quality and customer satisfaction, interest in domestic ingredients and seasonal use, innovative and developmental attitude, understanding of quality, costs, inventories, and waste monitoring, and flexibility to work at other Restel Restaurant units if needed.
