Are you an experienced People Operations Specialist with a genuine interest and passion toward the operations side of HR? Do you want to be part of building and scaling our People Operations across the Nordics (Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway), with the autonomy to shape how we work while backed by a truly global People team? This is a hands-on role with plenty of room to improve and modernize our processes — if this sounds like you, then we’d love to chat! The People team at RELEX currently consists of 50 professionals located in several countries globally, the majority in Helsinki. To reach our growth plans and to ensure we serve our RELEXians to the best possible level, we are now looking for a full-time People Operations Specialist to join our People team in Helsinki, Finland or Stockholm, Sweden and take care of our Nordics region. As our People Operations Specialist, you’ll be working at the very heart of our People Team, working to support and partner with our countries and functions in a highly engaged environment. You are the first point of contact in HR matters and will be supporting the entire employee lifecycle for our colleagues mainly in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway, from the very moment they onboard. You take care of HR data management, and you are also the main payroll partner for our external payroll vendor. What you’ll be doing - Full employee life cycle support, from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between. - Supporting our team leads and colleagues with all their people-related topics, as e.g. time-off, benefits, compensation and others. - Responsible for Payroll input preparation in cooperation with our external payroll vendor. - HR system (Workday) updates and associated employee data quality management. - Writing and maintaining people policies, team lead guides and training sessions. - Handling employee escalation cases together with the support of your senior colleagues. What you’ll bring to the table: - You have a solid background of People Operations experience in the Nordics (focus countries Finland/Sweden, ideally also Norway and Denmark), preferably also in a multi-country, global environment. - You have previously worked closely with HR systems, people policies (creation and development), as well as compensation and benefits related topics. - You have hands-on experience with the payroll cycle. - You have a strong understanding of all core people processes, with a view of what works and what doesn’t. - You enjoy taking responsibility and solving problems proactively. - Excellent organizational skills and can-do attitude combined with networking skills, assertiveness, and the willingness to take initiative. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills - Full working fluency in English
