Experienced Construction Labourer

Excavator banksman for earthworks! We are seeking an experienced banksman for our customer’s infrastructure construction site, where you can make use of your skills as part of a skilled team. We particularly value an initiative-taking attitude, a precise approach to work and the ability to work seamlessly as part of a group. Job description and requirements You will work as an excavator banksman. Your daily duties include measuring levels, compaction work and manual digging. It is also important to understand the contours of the site and ensure that work progresses according to plan. We require applicants to have: • Previous experience as an excavator banksman • Experience measuring levels, carrying out compaction work and performing basic earthworks • The ability to understand site contours and assess the evenness of surfaces • A valid Occupational Safety Card approved by the Centre for Occupational Safety; other industry cards are considered an advantage • Readiness to work long shifts when necessary, for example 10 hours • Finnish language skills • Legal adulthood Access to a car is an advantage but is not essential for the role.
