Concrete Structural Designer

We are now looking for a concrete structural designer for our Seinäjoki team for varied design assignments. As a concrete structural designer, you will design load-bearing concrete structures for various building-construction projects. You will be responsible for your own design packages and develop solutions in cooperation with the project manager, the rest of the design team and the client. Your work may include both smaller design tasks carried out independently and larger projects as part of a project team. Our assignments cover new-build and renovation projects, from small expert assignments to major projects. We can tailor the role to your specialisation and interests. It is important to us that you can develop and receive projects that match your experience and offer an appropriate challenge. We are not afraid to give responsibility and trust our experts. We work in 28 locations, and your office will be in Seinäjoki. What you need to succeed We hope you have at least six years of experience in concrete structural design. You have a suitable construction-sector qualification (MSc in Technology / Bachelor of Engineering / engineering degree from a university of applied sciences). You know the fundamentals of statics and the design of load-bearing structures, and can use Office tools and AutoCAD or Tekla Structures design software proficiently. Familiarity with RFEM and other industry software is an advantage. You have good interpersonal skills and can communicate fluently and clearly in Finnish. You work naturally as part of a team but are also comfortable with independent tasks. You take responsibility for your own design work and are not afraid to find new ways of doing things.
