A permanent position of RECORDS MANAGEMENT PLANNER is open in the Group Administration of the City of Oulu. The Records Management Planner works with electronic records management and information management tasks within the City of Oulu's group administration. The Records Management Planner guides the preparation of information management plans for sectors and business entities. The planner serves as the super-user for the records management system, information management system, electronic archiving system, and electronic signature solution. The duties include guiding, advising, and training in the processes of handling, preparing, and decision-making of matters. Additionally, the planner participates in various integration, migration, and software robot projects where the data transfer targets are either the records management system or the electronic archiving system. The tasks are extensive and require strong expertise in developing electronic operating methods, practical records management tasks, information management, information systems, municipal administration, and the legislation related to the performance of the duties. The City of Oulu's records management group consists of three teams: the registry, the city archives, and records management planning and development; the records management planners are located in the latter team. There are three records management planners, and their workstations are at the city hall. The records management planning and development team is a close-knit community where everyone has largely the same tasks. The team works independently but in cooperation. It is possible to work partially remotely. Remote work follows the city's remote work guidelines, according to which the work week includes at least two on-site workdays. The eligibility requirement for the position is a suitable higher university degree. Work experience in records management and information management tasks, the preparation of information management plans, and integration and migration projects is considered an advantage. The ability to resolve matters independently, the ability to act as a team member and expert in cooperation groups, and the ability to act as a trainer are also considered advantages.
