About the role

The Project Associate provides support to administrative and finance services ensuring high quality of work, including accurate, timely, and properly recorded/documented service delivery. The PA ensures effective delivery of project by entering and managing data and supporting programme implementation consistent with UNDP rules and regulations. The position is based in Istanbul, with the current office-wide policy of in-person presence a minimum of three days per week. Duties include: Support management of project in Quantum (ERP system), setting-up annual work plans, tracking budget revisions, and creating e-requisitions. Support project implementation and financial management, including budget cycle planning, processing payment requests, monitoring expenditures, and preparing accounting records. Support procurement and contracting processes for Individual Consultants, services and goods. Provide event and meeting organisation support, including logistics, travel, and producing meeting minutes. Manage internal communication and updates on project platforms and social media. Requirements: Secondary education is required, or a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, Public Administration, Communication, Economics, Political Sciences, Social Sciences, or related field. Minimum of 7 years experience with high school diploma or 4 years with bachelor’s degree. Fluency in English and Turkish is required.

Requirements

  • Secondary education or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, Public Administration, Communication, Economics, Political Sciences, Social Sciences, or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with high school diploma, or 4 years with bachelor’s degree
  • Solid experience with MS Word, Excel, database packages, and ERP systems
  • Experience organizing exchange workshops and training activities at national or international level
  • Fluency in English and Turkish
