Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lead Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Plant Utility Team. On this position, you are responsible for the planning and engineering of challenging industry projects. You are the connection between our client, other project participants and contractors. You will be the direct contact person and will focus on cleanroom planning and the associated Plant Utility and HVAC systems. Explore your tasks and responsibilities - As a lead engineer, you will be responsible for the planning and design of heating, cooling and sanitary systems - As a central role in the project, you will participate in the preparation of the offer for the planning task as well as the negotiations - Subsequently, you will take responsibility for the management and coordination of external partners and contractors - You will prepare planning documents and functional descriptions for cleanroom planning and the associated HVAC system, participate in 3D model and design reviews and are available as contact person - Compliance with applicable international norms, standards, GMP regulations and regulatory requirements are part of your area of responsibility - You also prepare the equipment and material lists as well as the performance directory - Cost determination and price comparisons are also part of your tasks Show your expertise - Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, process engineering or building technology and several years of professional experience in a comparable position, e.g. as a senior engineer, project manager for building services / HVAC and so on. - Extensive knowledge of Plant Utility and HVAC systems and project experience - Knowledge of technical requirements (norms, standards, VOB, etc.) - Expertise in MS Office, CAD and calculation software - You are characterized by independent work as well as strong communication and argumentation skills - Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken - Mobility (class B driver's license) and willingness to travel on business (day trip or multi-day trips, depending on the project) What we offer - Your start at Exyte: Take part in a two-day onboarding event with new colleagues - Attractive location: Our location features spacious workstations with height-adjustable desks - Buddy-System: Several weeks of close familiarisation with your colleagues in the team - Work-life balance: There is always the possibility of switching to mobile working - Catering: Free coffee specialities as well as water dispensers are accessible on every floor - Keep fit: Exyte subsidises your fitness contract through Qualitrain at over 5,000 locations in Germany
