Engineer / Engineering student (maternity leave replacement)

We are seeking an engineer or engineering student for about a five-month fixed-term temporary position during parental leave. The position would start quickly, in December 2026. The role offers a broad opportunity to become familiar with the manufacturing industry and to develop skills in production management, production and commercial operations. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings; leading a small welding team; preparing proposals for customers; handling sales and purchase orders; contacting customers and suppliers; using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. We hope you have at least 3 years of engineering studies; ability to read technical drawings; good English language skills; proactive and organized work attitude. Previous experience in industry and Swedish language skills are an advantage but not required for success. We offer an excellent chance to observe and experience how manufacturing production is managed and how sales and procurement processes operate as part of daily business. After the temporary placement there is possibility of permanent employment as a project engineer.
