We are looking for an assistant for a child in Läyliäinen, Loppi. We value previous experience working with children. As a personal assistant, you help our clients live a full life on their own terms. Onni’s clients are people who need help with everyday tasks because of an illness or disability. You assist with tasks at home and activities outside the home. Clients’ situations and needs vary, and the work is always determined by the client’s health and individual support needs. The work is varied and can, if you wish, include several clients and different tasks on the same day. A driving licence and the possibility of using your own car are essential for the work. You do not need education in the field or previous experience. What matters is the right attitude to assistance work, willingness to learn new things and the ability to work in a client-focused way in different situations. All our new assistants receive comprehensive onboarding at Onni’s own Avustaja Akatemia before starting work. Onboarding continues during the job as needed. You will receive ongoing guidance and support from your team supervisor, and you will never be left alone with questions or work-related challenges; we make sure of that! Work is mainly carried out in two shifts on weekdays and weekends. Shifts last from two hours upwards, and a workday may consist of one or more clients. You can influence your shifts and work on a gig-like basis in the way that best suits your life situation. We take into account both our clients’ need for assistance and our assistants’ work preferences, matching them as well as possible. If needed, the first shift with a client is an orientation shift. After that, both the assistant and the client can assess, among other things, how smoothly the cooperation works and whether they are compatible. If something concerns you later or does not work as planned, we will discuss it together and find a suitable solution. If you wish, you can work for several Onni clients when schedules can be coordinated.
