Industrial Painter / Surface Treatment Worker

We are looking for an industrial painter / surface treatment worker for LP-Group Kangasniemi Oy! LP-Group Kangasniemi Oy manufactures a range of steel products and components for the needs of different industries. We are now looking for an industrial painter or surface treatment worker to strengthen the production team. If you have experience in industrial painting, a careful approach and a desire to work in varied production tasks, you may be the person we are looking for! Job description Your duties will include a range of paint-shop tasks according to your previous skills and experience. These include cleaning workpieces, protecting them by masking with tape and plugs, using a sandblasting cabinet, and carrying out reinforcement and touch-up painting with a brush. The work also includes visually inspecting finished workpieces and measuring coating thickness. For a less experienced worker, the tasks focus on paint preparation and finishing. More experienced industrial painters may also do spray painting with high-pressure and air-atomising spray guns. You will work as part of the production team on varied components. Work is on weekdays in two shifts (6:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00), and the work will start as soon as possible by agreement. Requirements Previous experience as an industrial painter or surface treatment worker A careful, patient and precise approach to work Initiative and a desire to do high-quality work Readiness to work two shifts Finnish language skills Training in industrial surface treatment is considered an advantage. Previous spray-painting experience is not essential, as duties will be determined according to your skills.
