About the role

The candidate shall possess strong expertise in power system applications, FACTS technologies, STATCOM Control & Protection systems hardware design, Substation Automation & Hardware Integration, Software Engineering & HMI Configuration, Industrial Communication Protocols, IEC 61850 based communication systems, and industrial Cybersecurity requirements for critical infrastructure. The role requires technical leadership, project coordination, customer interaction and mentoring to engineering team. The position involves leading multidisciplinary teams responsible for control, protection, SCADA, HMI, communication, and cybersecurity systems for utility-scale STATCOM and grid stability projects. Key responsibilities include managing schedules, resource planning, driving engineering excellence, providing mentorship, designing and reviewing control and protection schemes, ensuring IEC 61850 system compliance, and leading people management tasks. The role demands 14-18 years of experience in power system studies, with at least 5 years in STATCOM/FACTS projects, and a degree in Electrical Engineering. The position is based in Noida, India, with homeworking flexibility.
