Hydraulic Designer

Join Comatec’s expert community to design hydraulic solutions for mobile machines. We are looking for a hydraulic designer for Tampere for diverse and technically engaging client projects. In this role you will influence hydraulic system designs for mobile machines in product development and maintenance projects. You will design and develop hydraulic systems, create hydraulic diagrams, and participate in implementing, documenting and selecting components. You will collaborate with customers, your own team, and experts from different design disciplines. The scope and responsibilities depend on your experience. We act as design partners for leading players in the field, combining high technical expertise with practical design and a drive to find reliable solutions for customers. In this position you will work at the client company’s premises or Comatec Tampere office, with possible remote work depending on the task and project. Responsibilities include hydraulic system design for mobile machines in client projects; drafting and maintaining hydraulic diagrams; supporting component selection and sizing; designing pipelines and hoses and producing 3D models, product structures and manufacturing drawings; collaborating with customers, project teams and other design disciplines; leveraging and developing your own expertise for varying project needs. What we expect from you: suitable technical education such as engineer (AMK) or diploma engineer; at least a few years’ experience in hydraulic design tasks; understanding of hydraulic systems and their components; experience with CAD environments; ability to conceptualize and produce practically working technical solutions; good interaction and collaboration skills and customer‑oriented work approach; fluent in Finnish and English. Additionally valued: knowledge of mobile machines or utility vehicles; experience with environments such as E3-, NX-, Solidworks or Teamcenter.
