Hand snow removal worker for winter season

WE WANT TO HIRE COMMITTED AND POSITIVE PEOPLE FOR MANUAL SNOW REMOVAL We are hiring manual snow removal workers for the 2026–2027 winter season. WORK Winter is approaching quickly, and Reijus is already looking for more energetic manual snow removal workers for the winter, even if Santa’s elves are not yet peeking through the windows. The employment is on an on-call basis, but in previous years we have also used our most capable and hardworking workers for other work in addition to manual snow removal during busy periods. In several cases, this has even led to permanent, year-round employment. WORKING HOURS Snow removal in winter is carried out largely at night, so you must be able to start work at night. We aim to notify you of upcoming shifts as early as possible, usually the previous day, though this also depends somewhat on the weather forecast. As you might expect with snow removal, adequate physical fitness is important. However, we are not looking for bodybuilders; a generally healthy and fit person can manage the work as long as their attitude is right. BENEFIT OF HAVING YOUR OWN CAR The requirements for employment are Finnish language skills and a valid B driving licence. We also encourage you to use your own car by paying a separate bonus of €20 per snow-removal shift, in addition to mileage reimbursement of €0.55 per kilometre for the distance driven during manual snow-removal work, starting at the depot and ending at the depot. The car should have room for snow-removal equipment. This bonus may provide an additional benefit of approximately €400–700 over the winter. PAY The hourly wage is €12.59. In addition, we pay an extra €1.00 per hour on top of the hourly wage for manual snow removal if that day's snow-removal shift takes place between midnight and 5 a.m. Collective-agreement evening (€0.73/hour), night (€1.36/hour) and public-holiday supplements are also paid. ADDITIONAL BENEFIT And, as if that were not enough, if you attend at least 90% of the requested snow-removal shifts, we offer the opportunity to rent a trailer-mounted hot tub in spring after the winter for €20, from Thursday to Sunday. No need to add bubbles yourself—the hot tub comes with a bubble system, as well as lighting and a seating platform with a few benches. It is a top-of-the-range model.
