A youth social work role within adult social work, focusing on clients under 30 who are young adults. We are looking for a socially skilled social care worker who is enthusiastic about developing in the field of social guidance. Responsibilities include assessing service needs, drafting and implementing client plans, and preparing and deciding on supplementary and preventive income support. Social care workers operate as independent practitioners with some joint work alongside social workers. The team supports professional growth and mentoring, with opportunities for remote work. The work location is Lohja, with service areas in Lohja, Vihti, and Karkkila; additional workplaces in Espoo (Komentajankatu 5C) and Karkkila (Valtatie 26), plus client meeting rooms in Nummela (Ridalintie). A own car is required. The position is a temporary assignment until 30 April 2027, with start as soon as possible. Interviews are held as many as possible during the application window in week 35. The workplace is Nuorten ja aikuisten sosiaalityö, Laurinkatu 48, Lohja. Working hours: 38 h 15 min per week. Qualifications follow the Social Welfare Act (817/2015) §8. Proficient Finnish language skills are required, with the ability to work independently and good collaboration and communication skills. A driver’s license is required. Randomly, employees may be asked to provide drug testing per the West Uusimaa Wellbeing region drug program.
