Test Automation Engineer

Solita’s software development unit is expanding capabilities around quality assurance by building a new QA expert team. We are looking for an experienced test automation developer to join the team in Helsinki, Tampere, Turku or Oulu. Responsibilities include ensuring QA practices support smooth and sustainable software development, designing and implementing the test automation solution using QA tools, defining test automation structure, libraries, test hierarchy, and reporting as appropriate to the project. You will plan and execute API testing and build and evolve testing integrations into CI/CD pipelines. You will support project teams in delivering high-quality, maintainable, user-centered solutions, working closely with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to keep quality in the development lifecycle. You will act as a trusted partner to clients and help identify effective testing and QA practices that fit customer needs and environments. You will contribute to evolving QA practices and actively share ideas on how to improve projects and the team. The role emphasizes independent work and taking ownership of your QA domain, with a readiness to push quality forward through practical work. Based on the overall scope, your fixed monthly salary typically lies between 4700–5700 euros.
