Cashier-Sales Assistant

As a cashier-sales assistant, you will work with your colleagues to make customers’ visits to a Tokmanni store pleasant and straightforward. Your varied workday includes customer service at the checkout and in the store, replenishing shelves, planning and carrying out product displays, and keeping the store welcoming. An important part of your work is helping customers with their questions, and we also help one another whenever the team needs support. Our wide selection gives you the chance to display products related to clothing, leisure, everyday home needs and renovation, and to guide customers with a variety of questions. The position is a one-month fixed-term role. Work starts on 16 November 2026, and working time is 5 hours per week. While working with us, you may also have the opportunity to complete some of your contracted hours or take on additional hours at nearby stores. You may be the colleague we are looking for if you are an adult and have: - A cheerful customer-service attitude - Good communication and cooperation skills, as well as social awareness - A desire to work in an active, fast-paced role - An independent approach and the ability to complete tasks efficiently - Availability for varying shifts on weekdays and weekends - A desire to do your work well, pride in your professional skills, and interest in developing them - The ability to serve our customers in Finnish; good English skills are an advantage The cashier-sales assistant role involves receiving and moving heavy products, bending and reaching, so good physical fitness and mobility are needed. Commercial education and retail experience are considered advantages, but what matters most to us is your positive attitude and genuine interest in retail and store work.
