Unikie is looking for experienced Kotlin Java Full Stack Application Developers to join a long-term customer project. In this role, you will develop and maintain business-critical web applications in a modern cloud-native environment. You will work across the full stack, building Kotlin/Java backend services, developing React frontends, and contributing to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and software architecture. Responsibilities
- Develop backend services using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot
- Build and maintain React applications with TypeScript/JavaScript
- Design and integrate REST and SOAP APIs
- Develop scalable microservices running on Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation
- Work with SQL databases, Redis, Linux environments, and secure authentication solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams in a multi-vendor environment
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Full Stack or Backend development
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot
- Experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript
- Solid understanding of microservices and API integrations
- Experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS), and CI/CD tools
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Good knowledge of SQL databases and Redis
- Experience with secure development practices and testing
- Experience working in multi-vendor environments
- Fluent Finnish and English
