Technical Second-Line Support Specialist, Public-Sector Software

We are looking for a motivated and organised Technical Support Specialist for a public-sector systems support team in southeastern Espoo. You will work with public-sector principal users and support socially significant built-environment systems. Job description In this role, you will work as a technical specialist in our client company’s second-line support team, supporting the principal users of its public-sector customers. The customers include municipalities, regions and government organisations that use the client’s solutions for, among other things, land-use planning, building control and asset management. The work is independent specialist work, but you will have the support of a close-knit team and direct contact with product development and customer project specialists. Responsibilities You will provide technical support to principal users, investigate complex software and environment issues, and participate in the product development lifecycle. Your day-to-day work includes: • Providing high-quality technical software support to customer principal users. • Investigating and resolving issues related to software use and system environments, particularly MS SQL Server. • Documenting product development needs, improvement suggestions and defects. • Installing new software versions in customer environments. • Participating in the development of the support unit’s services and practices. We are looking for Requirements: • Suitable education, for example in IT, surveying or a related field. • Strong Microsoft SQL Server database expertise. • Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English. • A strong customer-focused attitude and a desire to provide excellent technical support. • Readiness to work on site at our office in southeastern Espoo.
