We are looking for a proactive and positive-minded Lead Designer to join our industrial client projects at our Tampere, Pori or Rauma sites. In this role you will work on mechanical and machine design or product development projects depending on your experience. The designer will dive into diverse industrial design tasks including special machines and equipment, robotic applications, conveyor solutions, and various production lines and industrial plants projects. We expect several years of mechanical design experience in industry and a degree in mechanical or automation engineering; a degree as a diplomi-insinööri/engineer is highly beneficial, and 5–10 years of design experience in the field is ideal. Knowledge of 3D design software is required, SolidWorks is our main tool, with exposure to other CAD software possible. The role may require occasional travel and plant visits to our clients. We offer a dynamic, people-oriented engineering house with international opportunities within the Prevas family; flexible working hours, remote work options, and a presence in Tampere, Kotka, Rauma or Pori as primary locations.
