Maintenance Supervisor for Dagsmark in Mellilä Do you have maintenance experience and want to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a hands-on maintenance supervisor for Dagsmark who gets involved in the work and makes cooperation run smoothly. You may already be an experienced maintenance supervisor or a maintenance professional ready to grow into a role with greater responsibility and develop as a supervisor. Dagsmark Petfood is a growing Finnish pet food manufacturer. Its product range includes high-quality dry and wet food for cats and dogs, as well as domestic chew products and treats. We are looking for a supervisor for factory maintenance to take care of the team’s daily work and the reliability of production equipment. Recruitment is carried out in cooperation with Bolt.Works, and the selected person will be employed directly by Dagsmark. What does the work involve? As Maintenance Supervisor, you will plan, resource and monitor maintenance work and lead the team’s daily activities. Your approach is hands-on: you will also take part in practical maintenance work and support your team in everyday situations. Your goal is to ensure uninterrupted production together with maintenance and production staff. You will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance and take care of maintaining the maintenance system and spare-parts management. Your duties also include developing the team’s skills and guiding external contractors. You will ensure within your area of responsibility that work is carried out safely and in accordance with quality, hygiene and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the Technical Manager for the Mellilä and Nokia factories and under their guidance. What kind of colleague are we looking for? You can cooperate with your own team, production staff and external partners. We expect practical maintenance experience and readiness to participate in the work yourself. Previous supervisory experience is an advantage, but it is not essential. You can grow into the role if you have maintenance expertise, a willingness to take responsibility and an interest in developing your own work and that of your team. What do we offer? We offer a responsible, practical role in which you can influence the everyday work of factory maintenance and develop operations together with the rest of the team. You will have the support of the Technical Manager’s expertise. Please note: As this is a food factory, the selected person must have a hygiene passport or complete the required training. - Salary: Depending on your skills and experience; state your salary expectation. - Workplace: Dagsmark’s production facility in Mellilä. - Working hours: 37.5 hours per week. At the start, the work is mainly a single shift over five days a week. In the future, the work may include two shifts. - Start: By agreement, no later than 1 January 2027. - Collective agreement: Collective agreement for salaried employees in the food industry. - Employment: Directly with Dagsmark.
