Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a logistics coordinator for a fixed-term position in Uusikaupunki! We are hiring an employee for our client for a one-year fixed-term position. The workplace is in Uusikaupunki. The work is done in two shifts (6:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00). The employment begins with an induction period of about one month, after which work continues according to the shift schedule. Work starts as soon as a suitable person is found. Someone who does well in the role may have the opportunity for permanent employment after the fixed term. Job duties The role focuses primarily on planning and directing container transport and coordinating customer and factory deliveries. Other duties include access control, directing traffic in the factory area and alarm-centre tasks. The work focuses on road logistics and offers a varied view of day-to-day operational logistics. What we expect from you - Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly - Fluent Finnish and English; other language skills are an advantage - A customer-service-minded and positive attitude - Flexibility, initiative and organisational skills - The ability to make decisions in busy situations - Good teamwork skills and the ability to work independently - Logistics studies are an advantage We offer a varied and responsible role in domestic and international logistics, as well as the opportunity to gain valuable experience in operational work in the field. Pay for the role is €2,800/month under the collective agreement for white-collar employees in the road transport sector. Interested?
