The world runs on energy. Energy runs on the people who keep grids balanced, markets clearing, and water flowing. Volue builds the software behind them — and behind that software is a team of around 800 people across the Nordics and Europe. Our mission is to provide innovative services critical to society, unlocking a cleaner, better and more profitable future. Working towards this goal, Volue has become a leading technology supplier and enabler of the green transition, helping energy companies simplify and optimize everyday operations. We are now looking for a People Partner to cover Germany, Austria and Switzerland for approximately 15 months while our colleague is on parental leave — someone who keeps the People agenda moving and helps us continuously improve Volue’s ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission. You will be the trusted partner to leaders who are technical, fast-moving and commercially driven — operating in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This is a fixed-term assignment of around 12 months covering a parental leave, so you will step into live cases and cycles already in motion rather than a blank page. We are looking for a self-going People Partner who gets up to speed quickly, sits in the room when organizational decisions get made, challenges the thinking, and then carries it through to execution. What you will be doing to make a difference • Partnering leaders across our German, Austrian and Swiss sites and also internationally where applicable on organizational design, workforce planning and capability building • Running the people cycles that fall inside your assignment — compensation review, performance and talent reviews — on time and to standard • Coaching managers through performance, leadership and difficult conversations — raising the bar on how they lead • Translating DACH labor law and collective agreements into practical decisions leaders can act on • Supporting hiring, onboarding and reorganization activity as the DACH organization keeps growing • Keeping documentation and decisions in order, and preparing a structured handover so the role passes back without losing momentum What you need to succeed: • 6+ years in People/HR roles, including at least 3 years as a business partner to leadership • Proven ownership of employee relations cases and organizational change, with a track record of getting up to speed fast in an unfamiliar organization • Solid working knowledge of German labor law, ideally with exposure to Austria and/or Switzerland, plus experience with works councils and collective agreements • Fluency in German and English • Experience in tech or engineering environments is a strong advantage Why Volue We sit at the center of the energy transition. The decisions our customers make with our software affect how entire societies are powered. That is the work you would be supporting — and the leaders you would be coaching. You will join a People team that is trusted, close to the business, and given real room to shape how Volue grows — and for the next year, DACH is yours to run. What we offer A clearly scoped 15 months assignment with real ownership from day one Great colleagues in one of Europe’s most exciting green tech companies with an innovative and international work environment Flexible working hours, hybrid working from Munich, Berlin, Vienna or Basel and a competitive compensation package In Volue, we cherish each employee’s competence, ideas and personality. Let your skills and talent be a part of our team – and let us leave our mark on the world together! Company Culture In Volue, we believe that in order to be a successful company, we need to bring everyone to the table. We look at diversity as a competitive advantage. A diverse workforce enables better decision-making and creates more value. By inclusion, we refer to the sense of belonging and being part of a community at work. We want the people of Volue to feel welcome, valued and not least encouraged to bring their whole, unique selves to work. Volue is about people. From staff to client, people are at the center of all our operations, and we always strive for a flat structure where everyone feels included, appreciated and heard.
