Project coordinators play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of complex railway projects, coordinating schedules, documentation, reporting, stakeholder communication and internal/external project communications. They support project managers and design teams in activities such as schedule maintenance, meeting preparation, minutes, decision logging and follow-up, project documentation control, and compilation of financial, resource and reporting data to assist the project lead. The role offers opportunities to contribute to project governance, risk management and project practices, and to assist with tendering, development tasks or design work according to capability and interest. Primary work location is Helsinki, Tampere or Oulu, with possibility for other WSP offices. The team emphasizes collaboration across engineering disciplines and offices, and offers hybrid working arrangements. Required background includes suitable technical/engineering or project management studies, experience with project coordination or support, systematic and proactive work style, strong communication and teamwork, interest in infrastructure and rail projects, fluent Finnish and basic English. Prior experience in infra/rail or design projects is advantageous.
