General practitioner

We are currently seeking a general practitioner for student health care at our Tampere service point for a full-time position (38 hours 15 minutes per week) on a fixed-term contract starting as agreed in September–October and lasting until 30 June 2027. The position can also be part-time upon your request. We work in hybrid fashion, combining on-site and remote consultations. You will work with a diverse range of health concerns typical for young adults. The focus areas include mental health, skin diseases, musculoskeletal symptoms, infections, and sexual health. Students are directed to the consultation through an assessment of their care needs. We use BeeHealth’s digital platform, and the job also includes remote consultations and chat-based advice. Salary and terms are determined by the agreement of YTHS and the Finnish Medical Association. The task-specific salary range is: general practitioners 6668–7348 €/month; specialists 7410–8167 €/month. A personal portion of the monthly salary (6–24%) may be included. Certificate and opinion fees are paid separately in accordance with the collective agreement. We also offer comprehensive occupational health services and a wellness benefit (ePassi) and organize wellbeing activities at our service points. It is possible to accrue six months of specialist training in general medicine (YEK) during employment with YTHS. We expect you to hold a license to practice medicine and the right to work as a health care professional. We also value good interpersonal skills.
