Waiter at Kaunispään Huippu

We are looking for a waiter at Kaunispään Huippu for the 2026–2027 winter season. Kaunispään Huippu is located at one of Saariselkä’s best-known viewpoints. During the day, you will meet skiers, hikers and international visitors who stop to enjoy good food and the Lapland scenery. The restaurant has a suitably lively pace during the season. What would your workday with us be like? No two days are quite the same, but every shift is about making sure customers receive friendly and smooth service. This is teamwork at its best. During the busiest moments, the team focuses on what matters and pulls together; during quieter moments, the restaurant is prepared for the next adventures. Your workday includes welcoming customers, taking orders, serving dishes and looking after the restaurant’s general atmosphere. You will also help set out lunch, prepare the salad buffet and take care of other daily restaurant tasks. Kaunispään Huippu is located at one of Saariselkä’s most stunning viewpoints. After work, ski trails, slopes, snowshoe routes and the fells are right nearby. During the winter, you can experience the polar night, northern lights and the first sunny days of late winter. The apartments are clean and fully equipped; in practice, you only need to bring a toothbrush and warm clothes. During the winter season, two employees share a room. Pay and terms Starting pay: €14/hour + supplements; final pay is determined by education, skills and work experience. The work is shift-based, so shifts may also take place on weekends and evenings. Employment starts at the end of November and lasts until approximately 4 April 2027. Working-time bank Every employee has access to a working-time bank. Working hours vary during the season, and additional hours worked during busy periods can be taken later as time off. Any hours left unused are paid out in cash when employment ends.
