The vacancy is for an Early Childhood Social Worker at YES Daycare in Vantaa. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team that plans, implements and evaluates pedagogical activities with other professionals, and you will be responsible for child wellbeing, family cooperation, and fostering community and inclusion in collaboration with guardians and other child-care actors. You will help develop services and new practices to promote wellbeing and community for children and families, and you will oversee guidance for children and families. The unit operates in a multicultural, bilingual setting (English and Finnish). The position is located at Hagelstamintie 1, 01520 Vantaa. The team consists of eight groups, with 3–5 year olds in this cycle. We expect a positive, professional approach that emphasizes children’s strengths, flexible and collaborative work style, active listening, and presence in daily moments. Requirements
- Varhaiskasvatuksen sosionomi qualification
- Proficiency in Finnish and English (spoken and written)
- Experience in multicultural work environment is a plus
