Electrical Designer

You will join a growing world of electrifying trends enabling a greener future. We are now seeking an Electrical Designer to strengthen our design organization in Tampere. In this role you will design customer-specific device and electrical network solutions for international electrical engineering needs. You will work on electrical circuit and main diagram drafting, electrical equipment design, and documenting customer requirements into documents and implementation. The design work generally starts from existing solutions and project templates, which are adapted to the customer’s needs, sizing, component choices, wiring and layout. You will work closely with manufacturing, procurement and other designers. You will support production during testing changes and corrections and ensure design documentation remains high-quality and up-to-date across project stages. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to improving design practices and tools to meet the growth of our organization. Who we are looking for? We are looking for a person with some experience in electrical design of machines, devices or electrical networks. You know how to use EPLAN and understand electrical safety and the importance of quality documentation in technical design work. A relevant electrical engineering educational background supports success in the role. We are seeking someone who can take responsibility for their own design work and want to participate in project-based work to develop both our devices and our operating practices. In this role, neatness, precision and a genuine interest in high-quality schematic work are key. We hope you have: • experience using EPLAN in design work • understanding of electrical design of machines, devices or electrical networks • knowledge of electrical safety requirements • a careful, independent and persistent work approach • fluent Finnish and English • a desire to do high-quality design work as part of a close expert community.
