We are looking for a Senior Engineer, PCB Layout to join our growing Embedded Hardware team. In this role, you will design PCB layouts for embedded hardware solutions across a wide range of technologies and industries, including telecommunications, industrial automation, IoT, automotive, medical devices, and defence. You will work as part of a team of more than 70 embedded systems professionals, collaborating closely with experts across Etteplan to develop complete solutions from sensor to cloud. Your main responsibilities ·Design and develop PCB layouts for embedded hardware products. ·Create and maintain PCB manufacturing and production documentation. ·Maintain and develop component libraries. ·Collaborate and communicate effectively with customers, suppliers and project stakeholders. ·Contribute to the successful delivery of customer projects as part of multidisciplinary engineering teams. What we are looking for ·At least 5 years of experience in PCB layout design. ·Experience with at least one of the following tools: Altium Designer, PADS Standard/Classic or Xpedition. ·Understanding of mechanical design principles and the integration of PCBAs into end products. ·Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment. ·Strong communication skills in both Finnish and English, written and spoken. We also appreciate ·Experience with additional PCB design tools. ·Ability to develop and evaluate concepts for new technical solutions. ·Customer-focused mindset and strong problem-solving skills. ·Flexibility to work both at Etteplan and, when needed, at customer sites.
