Job Description As a Maître d'hôtel-Sommelier, you will be responsible for the overall appearance of our dining room, a joyful atmosphere, and high-level service. At the center of your work is a seamless customer experience – from the initial greeting to the perfectly poured wine. **Your responsibilities include:** - Ensuring the smoothness of floor service processes and creating the right spirit. - Developing and maintaining the wine and beverage list, as well as creating wine pairings in collaboration with the kitchen. - Professional, inspiring, and straightforward beverage recommendations at the tables. - Genuine hosting: reading customers, taking control of situations, and maintaining a brisk pace even during busy periods. We expect from you: - **Fluent Finnish language skills (requirement for the position)** – you will serve our customers primarily in Finnish. - Strong experience in the restaurant industry and a proven track record in similar floor/beverage product roles. - Sommelier training (e.g., WSET, Perho) or equivalent deep passion and professional expertise in wines. - A natural host/hostess role: you are a warm, brisk, and perceptive floor manager. - Ability to work under pressure and make quick, customer-oriented decisions without pretension. - A reference from your previous similar position in Finland.
