TIG/MAG welder – versatile welding and potential for permanent employment! We are seeking 1–2 experienced TIG/MAG welders for our client in Ylöjärvi for a long-term position. The job involves manufacturing industrial valves, piping and other demanding metal products for various industrial applications. The role requires strong experience in TIG welding and the ability to work independently according to drawings and work instructions. Tasks include demanding TIG and MAG welding (141/135), pipe and flange welding and other piping components, small and butt welds, and assembly welding. Materials include stainless and acid-resistant steels. The job also includes welding on a rotary table, preparatory welding tasks and quality assurance duties. The end products include pressure equipment, so precision, quality and adherence to production requirements are emphasized. The job is mainly day work, with the possibility of evening shifts if needed. Start as soon as possible according to agreement. What we are looking for: at least a few years of practical TIG welding (141) in industrial production and MAG welding (135); valid EN ISO 9606-1 welding qualifications or willingness to obtain them; experience in pipe, flange and piping welding in DN15–DN200 range; experience with stainless and acid-resistant steels welding; knowledge of FM1, FM2 and FM5 material groups; mastery of PA and PB welding positions; ability to read technical drawings and work instructions; proactive, responsible and precise work attitude; Finnish or English language skills. Additional pluses: experience in pressure vessel manufacturing and PED-compliant production, experience with branch welding of pipes and VT/PT inspected joints; experience in valve, energy, process or chemical industries; FW small-bore welding and BW butt welding skills are also advantageous. Willingness to perform other workshop welding-related tasks such as cutting and preparing pipes when needed.
