We are seeking a Specialist in crane and hoist inspections primarily for the Varsinais-Suomi, Satakunta and Pirkanmaa regions. In this role you will apply your technical expertise to independently perform statutory inspections of lifting devices and evaluate conformity. Inspections may include commissioning inspections, periodic inspections, thorough periodic inspections, or other inspection tasks tailored to the client. The work involves inspections at varying environments, such as customer yards, production facilities, or on-site at construction or maintenance sites. You will plan and manage your own schedule, with flexibility in time management. Reporting can be done on the go via mobile devices or consolidated on a dedicated reporting day for larger projects. Depending on the assignment you will work independently or with a colleague. You will regularly meet customer representatives, maintenance personnel and other stakeholders; good communication skills are essential. Physical demands and protective equipment vary by site, and the role includes climbing and moving about, requiring good physical condition and comfort with working at height. While largely independent, you will have the support of experienced colleagues and a nationwide team of inspectors. Requirements include suitable technical education (installer, technician, engineer or similar in electrical or mechanical engineering) and experience in crane equipment, technical maintenance, service or inspection. Experience in crane maintenance or inspections is highly valued. You should be able to plan your own work weeks based on contacts with customers, and be prepared for fieldwork across multiple sites. Travel and reporting tasks form part of the job. You should have a proactive approach to customer work and may contribute to additional sales. You will be autonomous, proactive, responsible and flexible. You can work independently but also collaboratively in teams. Proficiency in Finnish is required; English and Swedish are advantageous.
