Chef, Ruka Safaris Oy Iisakki Village recreates the courtyard of Iisakki Rajala, which was located in Paanajärvi. The area has many atmospheric old log buildings, moved to their current location in keeping with tradition but modernised. The log buildings house a range of services: reception with A-licences, accommodation to suit different needs, saunas, Iisakin Talo restaurant, experience services and campfire sites. We are looking for chefs to join our great team in Ruka! As a chef, you will work at Iisakin Talo, Kontioluola and Ukonkivi, in the beautiful surroundings of Kuusamo and Ruka. You will prepare food for breakfast as well as lunch and dinner services. We require previous work experience as a chef. You can work independently, but you are also a strong team player and genuinely want to create memorable dining experiences for customers. A positive and proactive attitude will take you a long way! There are two positions available. One involves breakfast and lunch shifts, and the other buffet shifts. The employment is fixed-term, from 23 November 2026 to 31 March 2027. The pay is competitive and takes your experience into account, approximately €15–17 per hour. If needed, affordable accommodation can also be arranged locally. The selected person will be employed through Lisäpalvelu Pohjois-Suomi Oy. Lisäpalvelu will support you throughout your time with us.
