Physiotherapist

We are seeking a skilled, motivated and self-driven physiotherapist to join our wonderful therapy team. This is a part-time, permanent position in Loviisa at Attendo Loviisanhovi, two working days per week with a 40% work percentage. Attendo Loviisanhovi provides 24/7 residential care for elderly residents, with 41 beds. Work is carried out as part of a multidisciplinary team. The candidate should be genuinely motivated and enthusiastic about working with older adults. Your duties as a physiotherapist include: evaluating residents’ functional capacity and supporting functioning through individual and group guidance; developing your unit’s rehabilitative activities in a multidisciplinary team; assessing, acquiring and instructing on assistive devices; guiding staff toward rehabilitative approaches and ergonomic work methods. We offer you an orientation and a close-knit team of physiotherapists who encourage and support each other. For this role you must have: a proactive and enthusiastic work attitude; education to become a physiotherapist and licensure by Valvira; good communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to work autonomously as well as in a multidisciplinary team; vaccination protection under the Communicable Diseases Act 48 § for the duration of the employment; a criminal record extract for working with the elderly; a social and health care card.
