We are looking for a sewing machine operator for our client in Lahti to cover parental leave, from the beginning of January until approximately November. Our client manufactures, among other things, treatment and massage tables, beauty treatment chairs and gym products, and also carries out contract manufacturing. In this role, your handiwork is an important part of the products’ quality, comfort and polished appearance. Varied work in sewing and upholstery Your working days mainly consist of sewing and upholstering treatment tables and chairs. Your tasks include cutting artificial leather and padding and operating sewing machines. The work suits you if you enjoy careful work and handling different materials. We expect you to have relevant training and previous experience in sewing work. You are proficient in using sewing machines and cutting materials. Previous upholstery experience is considered an advantage. We value accurate work, initiative and a desire to make quality products together with other professionals. Finnish is the working language. You will receive thorough induction from the professional going on parental leave so that you can get started as smoothly as possible. Working time is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible working hours give you room to arrange your day: working hours fall between 6:00 and 16:00 according to your own rhythm. The workplace is also accessible by public transport.
