Stability & Documentation Manager - R&D
Stability & Documentation Manager for remote gummy R&D; lead stability testing and doc ownership.
We're looking for a Stability & Documentation Manager to join our Gummy R&D team. This role is focused on proving gummy stability and keeping every document that defines a SKU accurate. You'll design and run stability testing, decide test methods, negotiate with labs, and own the document suite from draft to final sign-off. This is a remote HQ role with biannual off-sites. Responsibilities include running stability testing, method selection, lab negotiations, maintaining specs/SFPs, staging specifications, early issue detection, formulating reviews, and cross-functional collaboration. Requirements include 4+ years in regulated CPG/R&D, gummy experience preferred, Bachelor's in Food Science/Chemistry, strong organization and communication. Compensation includes $115k-$130k base plus bonus; comprehensive benefits. Remote-friendly.

- Run the stability testing program for the gummy portfolio
- Decide whether a test method is right for a matrix and push back if not
- Negotiate price/scope with third-party labs
- Review and maintain document suite for every SKU
- Stage product specifications from draft through final sign-off
- Identify stability or documentation issues early
- Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and co-manufacturers to align specs
- Keep a clean paper trail for SKU history
- 4+ years in R&D, quality, or product development in supplements, food, or a similar regulated category
- Designed and run stability studies
- Knowledge of gummy chemistry and testing methods
- Experience negotiating with contract testing labs
- Ownership of specs end to end and signing off on them
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or Chemistry
- Highly organized with attention to detail and cross-functional communication
