Solution Owner

The Automation-team at Helen is seeking a Solution Owner for Automation. The role is a permanent position in the Automation team. You will ensure that IT/OT interfaces, architectures and lifecycle management enable reliable, secure and proactive operation of Helen’s energy system. The team coordinates with multiple IT and automation partners to ensure critical operations 24/7. You will lead the work of the Automation team and its digital solutions, manage budgets and governance, and drive long-term planning and roadmaps with business units for Helen-level efficiency. You will collaborate with automation experts, the SCADA team, the security team, partners and leadership of Digital Solutions. We require at least 3 years of experience in information management of critical automation systems, knowledge of industrial-automation principles and data transfer protocols, previous experience as a technical leader and stakeholder management, understanding of system architectures and end-to-end data flows, ability to assess costs, benefits and business value, experience with agile methods, and excellent Finnish and English written and spoken communication.
