HR Specialist

We are seeking an HR specialist for a maternity leave replacement in a versatile and responsible role in the Tampere area. The replacement begins in October 2026 and is expected to continue until January 2028. Your role centers on one of RTK-Henkilöstöpalvelu’s significant manufacturing industry clients. You will work as part of a two-person HR team and, together with your colleague, be responsible for daily HR matters for a large workforce. The role resembles internal HR work in a large industrial company; you will be close to the client’s everyday operations, personnel and supervisors, combining HR duties, recruitment, labour relations, well-being support, and close collaboration with the client’s organization. Lead responsibilities include: handling daily HR matters for temporary workers and acting as a supervisor to line managers; close cooperation with the client’s HR, supervisors and production managers; managing recruitment processes from candidate interviews to drafting employment contracts; supporting personnel in various work and employment situations; handling well-being issues, early support discussions and cooperation with occupational health; monitoring and approving working hours and timesheets; other daily HR responsibilities related to the client. The work is practical HR work with varied situations and daily contact with both employees and the client organization. You will truly become part of the client’s operations and see close up the everyday HR life of a large industrial company. In addition to the main client, you will also handle recruitment for 2–3 other client companies and act as the supervisor for temporary workers employed at several client companies. What we expect from you: relevant HR experience and willingness to take on practical HR tasks independently. Success in the role requires strong interaction and collaboration skills and the ability to manage large workloads, even in busy times. Experience in manufacturing environments, personnel services, temp work, or well-being management is considered advantageous. Good onboarding is provided. You will receive a comprehensive introduction to the role and client. You will work with a two-person team during onboarding, then continue with your experienced teammate.
