Practical Nurse

Practical Nurse, Mainiokoti Kuura, Siilinjärvi Come and help us create a homelike feeling at Mainiokoti Kuura in Siilinjärvi! We are now looking for a practical nurse for a fixed-term position at our beautiful, bright home until 16 October 2027. Where will you work? Mainiokoti Kuura is located close to the centre of Siilinjärvi, next to the baseball field. The care home has 60 round-the-clock places for older people across two floors. The home is divided into four group homes: Louhela, Sampola, Vellamo and Vanamo. Mainiokoti Kuura has its own production kitchen. What will you do? As a practical nurse, you will provide everyday care and develop our unit’s operations together with the other team members. Our daily life is active, and we regularly organise activities for our residents. Who are you? You are a qualified practical nurse or a student nearing the end of your studies. A positive and proactive person who is genuinely interested in working with older people will enjoy working with us. Experience in elderly care is an advantage. We require current registration in the Suosikki/Terhikki register and a professional card, vaccination protection under the Communicable Diseases Act (48/2026), a tuberculosis examination and a hygiene passport. Under the Act on the Supervision of Social Welfare and Health Care, applicants selected for work with older or disabled people must present a criminal record extract referred to in section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act.
