HVAC Designer

Would you be one of us? HVAC designers throughout Finland Varied projects and a need for your expertise We are looking for HVAC designers for diverse building-services projects. We design hospitals, office premises, housing, industrial facilities and data centres. Our varied projects mean we need HVAC professionals with different areas of expertise. You do not need to master every project type or design area; you can use your strengths and develop your skills. We are looking for designers to strengthen Sitowise's building-services teams in different units. Your assignments and projects will be matched to your skills, experience and interests. You can continue with familiar project types or broaden your expertise to new ones with the support of experienced colleagues. What will your work be like? As an HVAC designer, you will work on new-build and renovation projects as part of a multidisciplinary project team. Depending on your area of expertise, your work includes designing and sizing heating, cooling, ventilation, water and drainage systems, preparing plans and building information models, and coordinating solutions with other design disciplines. Your work will focus on practical HVAC design. You will progress your own design assignments independently, but you will not be left to handle them alone. Depending on your experience and interests, you may also take responsibility for broader design packages or projects. The employment is permanent and starts by agreement. What kind of background suits the role? We hope you have: - A suitable engineering or Master of Science in Engineering degree. - Previous experience in building HVAC design and readiness to work independently. - Experience with HVAC design software, for example MagiCAD and AutoCAD or Revit. - Good spoken and written Finnish. English is useful for international projects. We value your experience in your own design area. Sound design fundamentals, a careful approach to work and a desire to develop together with others are most important. Relevant design qualifications are considered an advantage.
