Esperi Koti Sarka as a workplace Koti Sarka provides round-the-clock supported housing for 15 residents and communal housing for five adults recovering from mental health challenges in Rovaniemi. Our everyday life is communal and rehabilitative: residents are supported towards independent living through group activities, peer support, active pursuits and outings. Our goal is to strengthen residents’ readiness to move to a lighter form of housing. At Sarka, you can expect a good atmosphere, friendly colleagues and a community that develops its work together. We are in the peaceful detached-house area of Pöykkölä, a few kilometres from central Rovaniemi. Practical nurse work with us As a practical nurse, your task is to strengthen residents’ functional ability and independence and support them in living life on their own terms. Your duties include guidance and basic care according to residents’ individual needs, as well as safe medication administration as part of holistic rehabilitation. You help residents with everyday matters such as errands outside the home, taking part in group activities and getting outdoors. You plan and carry out individual support measures and activities based on residents’ needs. You work to promote their inclusion and participation in communal activities and hobbies. Employment details The position is fixed-term until 31 May 2027 and is hourly work under an agreement of 0–115 hours per three-week period. The work is carried out in three shifts. We will agree on the start date with you! Pay Pay follows the private social services collective agreement. The practical nurse hourly wage is €15.29 (pay grade G20C). Possible experience-based increments and shift-specific supplements under the collective agreement are paid on top of the role-specific base pay. What do we hope for from you? A practical nurse qualification Valid medication permits, a hygiene passport, a social and healthcare professional card, and vaccination protection required under the Communicable Diseases Act At least functional basic Finnish language skills (B1); you may need to demonstrate your language skills A positive, active and self-directed approach to work Previous experience in similar duties is an advantage.
