We are looking for an eager and analytical Business Partner / Controller, Supply Chain to join our Business Planning & Analytics (BP&A) team at Framery in Tampere! In this role, you won’t just be crunching numbers – you will build your expertise as a trusted business partner for our global Supply Chain. Your mission is to support our operations with accurate, timely, and practical financial insights. You will bridge the gap between financial data and physical operations, helping our Supply Chain management make data-driven decisions to manage operational costs, optimize workflows, and support Framery’s global growth. You will join a supportive and specialized team of professionals, each focusing on their own business domains. While based at our headquarters (The Factory) in Tampere, your role has a truly international touch as you support our expanding global supply chain, including our regional distribution hubs in the US and APAC. Your Key Focus Areas: Business Partnership: Support strategic and operational decision-making in Supply Chain matters. You will participate in steering groups, assist leadership with regular reporting, and bring data-backed ideas to the table to help solve operational bottlenecks. Financial Control & Value-Driven Analytics: Deliver regular business reports and KPI metrics related to, amongst other things, inventory control, COGS, and logistics profitability. You will analyze P&L and balance sheet items, monitor operational costs, and help identify cost-saving opportunities. Planning & Forecasting: Actively participate in Framery’s forecasting and budgeting cycles alongside monthly reporting rhythm. Projects & Ad Hoc Tasks: Contribute directly to global cross-functional development projects and ad hoc analytical tasks together with internal stakeholders, with a focus on enhancing data utilization, operational efficiency, and continuously improving core financial practices. What Makes You a Great Fit? You are a proactive, business-oriented problem solver who is excited about the intersection of finance and physical supply chains. You enjoy looking behind the numbers, asking questions, and bringing continuous improvement ideas to the team. You have a collaborative, clear communication style and a genuine interest in manufacturing, production economics, and supply chain processes. You are comfortable translating financial data into actionable summaries for non-finance stakeholders and international peers. We hope to see: Around 2–4 years of relevant experience in management accounting, business controlling, or financial analysis (for example, as a Controller or Financial Analyst). Background in manufacturing, physical products, or supply chain mechanics (inventory, logistics, operational workflows). Strong skills in MS Excel and experience (or high motivation to learn more) in Power BI or similar BI platforms for data visualization and modeling. Good communication skills in both Finnish and English (spoken and written) to collaborate effectively with local and global stakeholders. An applicable degree (e.g., Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Economics, or Industrial Engineering). As a bonus (not mandatory): Experience with modern ERP systems (such as NetSuite). Basic understanding of SQL or interest in data querying tools.
