You will be joining the Visual AI Systems Research team as an intern to contribute to the advancement of next-generation AI-enabled multimedia systems and tools. The team operates within the scope of video research, which has been a pioneer in video innovation and standardization for decades. As an intern, you will play a key role in the development of future multimedia technologies. Your responsibilities: - Explore and evaluate methods and techniques for AI-based multimedia systems. - Collaborate on machine-to-machine communication, compression, and neural networks for visual AI topics. - Write technical reports. - Contribute to publishing research in conferences and journals. Your skills and experience: - Active student status - B. Sc. or comparable level in a relevant field such as computer science, machine learning, computer science, signal processing, or related field. - Good collaboration and communication skills. - Excellent programming skills including python and c/c++ combined with knowledge of at least one machine learning framework like pytorch or tensorflow. It would be nice if you also had: - Understanding MLOPs and knowledge of utilising such practices. - Knowledge of using GPU and CPU computing resources. - Publication in top-tier conferences and journals like (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICML, PAMI, IJCV, and alike)
