Keimolanmäen Daycare Center is seeking an Early Childhood Education Teacher for the 1–3 year old group starting 1 September 2026 or by agreement. The center operates with a home-area model and has six home areas; each area runs two groups with dedicated spaces. The facilities support strong small-group activities in accordance with the early childhood education plan. We participate in the ProVaka operating model, where adults set an example for children and the model also supports inclusive practice and the development of a culture of guidance that values social skills. The daycare shares facilities with Keimolanmäen School: daily cooperation and shared spaces like the restaurant, gym and yard. What we offer: work with top professionals including early childhood teachers, early childhood educators, two comprehensive early childhood education special educators, a developmental ward and aides; thorough onboarding and the possibility to participate in a mentoring program; special educators support the children’s needs; a supportive work community; opportunity to develop our operating culture and share your expertise; the team typically covers mid- and late-day shifts (7:50–16:09) and plan one full sak day and a weekly sak time for all teachers. What we expect: interest in positive group work with early learners; multilingual and multicultural environment; commitment to pedagogical play and using images to support communication; ability to lead your own team and support children’s growth and wellbeing; positive, development-oriented, and solution-focused collaboration; applications accepted during the application period; graduates are considered; if a suitable candidate is not found, the position may be filled temporarily by an ineligible applicant.
