We are seeking an experienced and goal‑oriented Project Procurement Manager to strengthen our industrial project procurement team. The role is based primarily in locations including Porvoo, Kotka, Vantaa, Turku, Pori, Tampere, Kuopio or Oulu. In this role you will work on demanding industrial investment and delivery projects where procurement plays a central role in project success. You will have the opportunity to influence major procurement decisions, interact with customers and suppliers, and develop processes together with seasoned professionals. As a Project Procurement Manager you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end planning, coordination and delivery of procurements for client projects, in line with assignment scope. Your duties include: preparing procurement plans and schedules; defining procurement packages with the project organisation; supplier mapping, evaluation and approval; preparing request for proposals and running tenders; evaluating commercial and technical bids; contract negotiations and drafting procurement agreements; monitoring deliveries and supplier management; identifying and mitigating procurement risks; conducting post‑award settlements and project reviews. You will be the primary owner of procurement in your projects and lead procurement work as part of the project organisation, collaborating closely with clients, suppliers and Rejlers’ experts. You will also contribute to continuous improvement of procurement practices and internal development projects. We are looking for a person who has significant procurement experience and who thrives at the heart of project operations. You are capable of leading procurement packages independently and building trusted relationships with customers, suppliers and project teams. You work target‑oriented, proactively and solution‑minded, managing multiple stakeholders and making decisions in changing situations. You value quality, and you continually seek to improve your own competence. We particularly value strong commercial understanding, negotiation and influencing skills, project management familiarity, ability to foresee and manage procurement risks, and customer‑oriented, collaborative working style. Requirements include: relevant technical or commercial education; at least 10 years of experience in industrial project procurements; experience with demanding tenders, contract negotiations and supplier management; experience leading procurement as part of a project organisation; excellent Finnish and good English written and spoken skills; proactive, responsible and customer‑oriented mindset; willingness to develop and share expertise.
