We are seeking a registered nurse for the float pool for a fixed-term employment contract until November 6, 2026. Your rotation area includes the regional ward operation units of Kyllö and Nova in the Jyväskylä region. As a float nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in diverse care environments and develop your expertise broadly. The job offers varied workdays, new encounters, and the chance to gain experience from several different wards. What does the job entail? As a float nurse, you will work in designated units and utilize and develop your skills in diverse nursing tasks. Varied workdays, different patients, and operating environments make the work interesting and provide an opportunity to constantly learn new things. The work is primarily morning-oriented three-shift work. Shifts are planned in advance, and your own wishes are taken into account in the shift planning as far as possible, so that the workday is predictable and compatible with leisure time. You will also receive individual orientation, taking into account your previous expertise and work experience. Position-specific salary €3,161.10/month + €117.12/month float pool supplement. In addition to the position-specific salary, we pay work experience supplements: 3% for 5 years and 8% for 10 years. Please also note the good working conditions of the public sector, for example, regarding vacation days. The accumulation of vacation days is determined by your work experience - the more experience, the more earned vacation days. Eligibility requirement is the qualification required by the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994), a licensed registered nurse. We also consider students in the final stages of their studies for the fixed-term position. The employer determines the need for influenza and pertussis vaccinations. The position requires up-to-date medication management expertise according to the medication plan or completion of it at the start of employment. The terms of employment are determined in accordance with the social and health care employment and official contract (SOTE agreement). A probationary period applies to the employment relationship.
