ABAP Developer

ABAP DEVELOPER - REMOTE(Europe Based) - ASAP START - CONTRACT - FULL TIME - 4 MONTHS + EXTENSIONS We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join and support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation. In this hands-on role, you will design, develop, and support high-quality SAP solutions, working closely with architects, technical leads, and functional teams across multiple business areas. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain SAP solutions within an S/4HANA environment. Design and optimise ABAP developments, CDS Views, and CDS View Entities. Develop efficient solutions using Open SQL and SAP HANA SQL. Build and support OData services, APIs, integrations, and IDoc interfaces. Implement enhancements using BAdIs and modern SAP extensibility techniques. Troubleshoot performance and technical issues across ABAP, CDS, HANA, and Fiori technologies. Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and maintainability. Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP and S/4HANA development. Expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP and modern ABAP syntax. Extensive experience with CDS Views, CDS View Entities, and SAP HANA. Strong knowledge of SQL, performance optimisation, and data modelling. Experience with OData services, APIs, SAP integrations, and IDocs. Understanding of locking concepts, background processing, update tasks, and parallel processing. Experience supporting SAP Fiori applications. Knowledge of SAPUI5 is advantageous.
