Restaurant Manager

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager for Saunaravintola Kaarna We are seeking an initiative-taking and responsible Restaurant Manager for Saunaravintola Kaarna, who wants to help develop the restaurant’s operations, staff performance and customer experience. Saunaravintola Kaarna is located in Hovirinta, Kaarina, in a beautiful maritime setting. The restaurant offers food and drink services, a terrace, and sauna and private events. Customers come to Kaarna to enjoy food, drinks and relaxation. Duties As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the restaurant’s daily operations and actively take part in practical restaurant work. The position combines staff leadership, organising operations and developing services. Your duties include, among other things: Planning and leading the restaurant’s daily operations Guiding and supporting staff and preparing work schedules Developing customer service and the customer experience Monitoring and developing sales and profitability Managing stock and orders and handling other restaurant administration Practical arrangements for events and private functions Cooperating with other staff and developing operations What we expect from you We hope you have experience in the restaurant industry and preferably previous experience in a supervisory or responsible role. Relevant education is considered an advantage. You will succeed in the role if you are: Proactive, responsible and solution-oriented A good supervisor who can guide staff by setting an example Customer-service-minded and interested in customers’ enjoyment Sales- and results-oriented, with an interest in developing operations Flexible and ready to take on practical tasks Able to handle pressure and keep the overall picture under control when things are busy You also need basic IT skills and the ability to use ordinary office software and other systems needed at work. A hygiene passport and an alcohol passport are required for the role.
