Ward Manager

We are looking for a line manager (ward manager) who wants to influence, develop, and lead things forward – not just maintain the existing. The ward manager position is permanent, starting August 31, 2026, or as agreed. In the line manager's role, you lead both the acute ward and the Mobile Hospital's operations as part of the hospital and rehabilitation services. Both are equally important: together they ensure that hospital-level care is timely, safe, and responsive to customers' needs. As a line manager, you are responsible for the quality and impact of nursing, staff well-being, and the smoothness of operations. You will succeed in this position if: - You are excited by a versatile management task where daily routine and development go hand in hand - You lead people clearly, fairly, and encouragingly - You see ward care and mobile operations as a strength of a common, functioning whole - You participate in developing services that are impactful, safe, and customer-oriented Your tasks: - Responsible for the overall management of nursing and daily operations - Lead and support staff in various operating environments - Develop operations together with a multidisciplinary work community and cooperation networks - Take care of patient safety, quality, and financial guidance - Work in close cooperation with other supervisors and management We expect from you: - Suitable higher education degree and you must be a licensed healthcare professional - Experience in supervisory or other responsible leadership work - Good interaction and decision-making skills - Ability to lead operations also in change and under pressure - Development-oriented and solution-centered work approach - Leadership studies or training and experience in acute or hospital operations are considered an advantage.
