Maintenance Fitter

We are looking for a motivated and self-directed mechanical maintenance fitter for BMI Production Finland Oy in Espoo for a long-term, full-time position. BMI Finland is part of BMI Group, Europe’s largest manufacturer of solutions for flat and pitched roofs and waterproofing. At its Juvanmalmi factory in Espoo, BMI Production Finland Oy manufactures bituminous roofing materials on two production lines. Your working day Your days will be spent on mechanical maintenance and installation work at the roofing-materials factory, such as cleaning bitumen pumps, replacing chains and belts, and working with pneumatics and bearings. Your duties include maintaining and servicing production machinery and equipment, various mechanical welding and installation work, and boiler duty according to a rota approximately every five weeks. The work is carried out in two shifts: for two weeks you work mornings Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 15:00, and every third week you work evenings Monday to Thursday from 15:00 to 01:00. The Chemical Industry collective agreement applies to your employment.
