Experience Host

Soul of Lapland is seeking multiple Elämysisäntä (experience hosts) and Elämysemäntä (experience host ladies) to create warm, memorable experiences in Rovaniemi and across Lapland. The role involves greeting guests, guiding them through various experiences, ensuring the day runs smoothly and safely, and representing the company values of hospitality. You will travel across Rovaniemi and nearby areas to partner sites, and be with guests throughout the experience. Responsibilities include presenting and selling experiences, listening to guests’ wishes, and helping them find suitable activities. You will also handle bookings via phone and reservation systems, and document experiences with photos/videos for marketing. Key tasks include guiding small group and private experiences, sharing Lapland’s nature, culture and local life, transporting guests between sites, coordinating logistics, and recommending experiences. We offer a fixed-term contract from November to end of March, a diverse role with Lapin small-group and private experiences, the opportunity to work with international clients, a warm and friendly team, thorough onboarding, and opportunities to develop in guiding, customer service, and sales. Required: warm service attitude, local knowledge of Rovaniemi and Lapland or willingness to learn, natural approach to recommending and selling experiences, proactivity, flexibility, calmness in changing situations, fluent English (additional languages a plus), basic IT skills and willingness to assist customers by phone, valid B-driver’s license, availability to work weekends and holidays, prior experience in guiding, tourism, customer service or sales is beneficial; Finnish language skills, first aid training and snowmobile experience are a plus.
